Just sign-up and then hop: the song uploader is not compatible with Mac.
How stupid is that?
We’re in 2010 godammnit and most music professional (except few producers with high end material)are on Mac.
You’re quite right: in 2010 we must offer a Mac uploader.
We’re developing a lightweight Mono uploader which will run under Mac OS X and Linux. Our intention is to have it available in beta by mid August.
Playlist has a major deficiency in Psonar Music player.
It doesn’t have the ‘SHUFFLE’ option.
And since Psonar is still in beta, you guys will get rid of the beta tag sooner or later. And then will you introduce the paid accounts as well? Then what about ours. Will our account have the unlimited storage?
Thanks for the comment. We do plan to add shuffle to the player in the next 4-6 weeks.
We intend to retain the unlimited storage on free accounts (and no limit on streaming as well). The premium account, which is due for beta release in the next month or so, allows people to store larger tracks (over 20MB – e.g. high encoding rate mp3 or wav) and we guarantee that any track downloaded/restored is bit-for-bit identical to the stored original.
Thanks for the reply Martin.
If you have planned to retain the unlimited storage for the free users as well, I hope you guys may concern what happened to other music storage sites.
If you introduce a basic package for a very very cheap price, I don’t think you will be able to worry about giving unlimited storage for FOC.
I really don’t like Psonar to be shut down like other previous sites.
Best of luck!
Just signed up 2 days ago in my quest to find a replacement for Lala.com. Good to hear about the LAst.fm scrobble integration! Still just getting started using Psonar and learning what it can do. So far, so good!
Thanks for the feedback!
